The preschoolers have enjoyed exploring art materials in various different forms. Lately, the main interest has been dripping paint! The interest started at the beginning of October when one of the preschoolers held a paintbrush full of paint above her paper and watched the paint drip down. The rest of the preschoolers were amazed by the creation that she made by dripping the paint across her paper! Ever since that particular art experience, the preschool children have integrated dripping into all of their art experiences moving forward!
Throughou the month, we have done art experiences where the children drip paint, water and glue by using paint brushes, pipettes, popsicle sticks, and cotton swabs!
It has been very fascinating watching the children find new ways to incorporate dripping into their artwork
