Group Learning

The nursery school program is an opportunity for children between the ages of 2.5 - 5 years of age to be introduced to a group setting that follows the Reggio Emilia Principles. We follow the children's interests by observing and then setting up the environment as a third teacher to provoke and test their thinking. It is not a pre-set curriculum but a process of inviting and sustaining learning.

Programs

• InfantFor infants 0-18 months of age, the Infant Program puts parents, infants and educators through a process of "Inserimento" - an Italian translation of "new beginning" and "transition".
• ToddlerFor children 18 - 30 months of age, the Toddler Program is based on our belief that children learn through play in a home-like atmosphere.
• Nursery SchoolFor children 2.5 - 5 years of age, the Nursery School program is an opportunity for children to be introduced to a group setting that follows the Reggio Emilia Principles.
• PreschoolFor children 2.5 - 3.5 years of age, our Preschool Program is based on topics of interest which are relevant to the child's world and incorporated into the curriculum.
• KindergartenFor children 4 - 6 years of age, our Kindergarten Program is based on projects which are relevant to the child's world and are incorporated into the curriculum.
• School AgeFor children 6 -12 years of age, our School Age Program allows for an informal, secure, relaxing learning environment in which a child can make activity choices within a recreational atmosphere.
